Algeria men's basketball team to hold November training camp

The Algerian men's 5x5 national basketball team is scheduled to hold a training camp in November during the FIBA window. This gathering is part of an ongoing project led by national coach Ali Bouziane to build momentum for upcoming continental competitions.

The team will not participate in the Arab Nations Championship due to scheduling conflicts. The competition's revised dates in mid-August overlapped with the players' club season preparations for 2026-2027. To avoid interfering with club commitments, the Federation and technical staff decided to bypass the tournament, though the coach noted that participation remains possible if such events are rescheduled during FIBA windows.
