Algeria partners with Italian firm for digital tourism platform

The Algerian Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts is collaborating with the Italian company Ck Cooperation S. r. l. to develop a new digital platform aimed at promoting the country's tourism sector. The project will utilize the Italian platform ‘My Temple Art’ to showcase Algeria’s diverse attractions, including Saharan, thermal, cultural, ecological, and seaside tourism.

Minister Houria Meddahi met with representatives of the Verona-based company, including Director General Gianni Pasquetto, to discuss the initiative. The goal is to centralize and simplify access to information regarding historical sites, circuits, and cultural heritage, which are currently dispersed across the internet. This digital transformation also includes developing online services for accommodations, travel agencies, guides, and artisans to improve the overall visitor experience.
