Algeria seeks to expand economic ties with Norway

Algeria is seeking to expand its bilateral cooperation with Norway beyond the energy sector. During the ‘Algeria Day’ event held in Oslo, Algerian Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Fisheries Sid Ali Khaldi promoted investment opportunities in agriculture and maritime fishing.

Algeria was featured as a special guest of honor at the 15th Nordic-African Business Summit. The initiative aims to diversify economic partnerships and strengthen commercial exchanges between the two nations, leveraging Algeria's strategic focus on food security and economic diversification.
