Algeria U17 football team defeated 3-0 by Croatia

The Algeria U17 national football team suffered a 3-0 defeat against Croatia during an international friendly tournament in Karlovac. This match serves as preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar.

After maintaining a scoreless tie for much of the first half, Croatia's Jakov Dedic opened the scoring in the 41st minute. In the second half, Endi Veljacic extended the lead in the 81st minute. An own goal by Algerian defender Kenzo Brignone in stoppage time finalized the score at 3-0.

This loss follows an initial 2-0 victory for the Algerian squad against Saudi Arabia. The team is scheduled to play its third match of the tournament against Hungary on October 2.
