Algerian athletes achieve mixed results in basketball and football

In Algerian men's Superdivision basketball, Mouloudia d'Alger (MCA) secured a narrow 70-69 victory against Rouiba Club Basket-ball. This seventh consecutive win allows MCA to temporarily take the lead in the championship standings. The match remained undecided until the final possession, as a last-second attempt by Rouiba's international center Sidali Benzaïm failed to score.

In the Qatar Stars League, Al Gharafa played to a 2-2 draw against Al Ahli despite strong performances from Algerian internationals Yacine Brahimi, Ismaël Bennacer, and Adam Ounas. Bennacer provided an assist for Seydou Sano, and Ounas assisted Brahimi for a goal. However, Al Ahli equalized in stoppage time, leaving Al Gharafa in 10th place in the league standings.
