Algerian boxers achieved a historic milestone at the U-19 World Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro, by securing three bronze medals in a single edition. The medalists include Riadh Belhaïdouche (-50 kg), Hanane Kainan (-70 kg), and Besma Bahri (-57 kg).

In the -50 kg category, Riadh Belhaïdouche reached the semi-finals after defeating Mexico's Gael Rivas before falling to Scotland's Aaron Sarwar. In the -70 kg division, Hanane Kainan secured her podium spot following a dominant performance against Kazakhstan's Kamila Ospanova, eventually losing in the semi-finals to England's John-Joe Carrigan. Besma Bahri also earned bronze after her campaign ended against Russia's Anastasia Golunova.

Additionally, Ismaïl Sahraoui (-60 kg) achieved a notable fifth-place finish after narrowly missing the podium against Ireland's Kalib Walshe. Saïd Ibaghrachen, the national technical director, described the achievement as a historic performance that demonstrates the significant progress of Algeria's younger generation of boxers.
