Algerian cyclists prepare for Mediterranean Games road races

Algerian cyclists are preparing for the upcoming road races at the Mediterranean Games, following the conclusion of the individual time trial events. The upcoming competitions, scheduled for Monday, August 24, feature a nearly flat course profile that is expected to favor powerful riders and those capable of strong finishes.

The women’s road race will feature a four-person Algerian team consisting of Nesrine Houili, Yasmine El-Meddah, Imene Maldji, and Malek Mechab. Houili, who placed 13th in the time trial, is expected to benefit from the flat terrain. The men’s race will be led by Hamza Amari and Yacine Hamza.
