Algerian Desalination Company hosts German economic delegation

The Algerian Desalination Company (ADC), a subsidiary of the Algerian Energy Company (AEC) under the Sonatrach group, hosted a significant German economic delegation at its headquarters in Algiers. The delegation included representatives from ten German companies and members of the German Federal Government, organized in coordination with the Algerian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Algeria).

Led by ADC CEO Lahcene Bada, the meeting focused on exploring partnership opportunities within the seawater desalination sector. The ADC presented its technical experience, the evolution of Algeria’s desalination industry, completed projects, and the future outlook of the national program.

In response, the German delegation outlined their companies' expertise, specifically regarding technology, equipment, services, and specialized solutions for the desalination industry. The visit highlights growing international interest in Algerian desalination expertise as the country expands its capabilities on both regional and international levels.
