Algerian Football Federation plans tribute for Mahrez and Mandi

The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) is reportedly planning a special tribute for Riyad Mahrez and Aïssa Mandi. The initiative aims to honor the two players, who were key figures in Algeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations victory, following their international retirements after the 2026 World Cup.

The ceremony is expected to take place during the upcoming international break scheduled from September 21 to October 7. While the players are not expected to return to the active squad for the upcoming matches, their presence would be purely symbolic to provide a formal farewell to the public.
