Algerian marble company signs export deal targeting China
During the 60th edition of the Marmomac international exhibition for marble and natural stones in Verona, Italy, the Algerian company SARL Nour signed an agreement with an Italian operator. This deal is intended to facilitate the export of Algerian marble to the Chinese market.
The Algerian delegation participated under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. The initiative is part of a broader national strategy to diversify exports and reduce reliance on hydrocarbons by integrating Algerian products into global supply chains.
Beyond the specific agreement, Algerian representatives met with the director of Marmomac and the president of the Verona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These discussions focused on developing economic cooperation and facilitating access for Algerian products to Northern Italy, where demand for natural stone has been identified.
