Arsenal and PSG battle for winger Yan Diomande after Morgan Rogers joins Chelsea

Arsenal redirected its summer target to 19‑year‑old RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande after Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers completed a £117 million move to Chelsea. The Gunners have made fresh contact with the player and his representatives, eyeing a fee reported around €120 million, while contending with Paris Saint‑Germain, who have already secured personal terms with Diomande and are negotiating a transfer fee with Leipzig that exceeds €100 million. PSG president Nasser Al‑Khelaïfi has personally reached out to Red Bull’s Oliver Mintzlaff in an effort to lower the price, and the club may even consider a loan‑back clause. Liverpool is also reported to be interested, with a €100‑million offer on the table, but Leipzig’s asking price remains the main obstacle. Arsenal’s pursuit is seen as a last‑minute attempt to fill the left‑wing vacancy left by the loss of Rogers, while PSG appears poised to become the primary destination for the Ivorian international.
