Algeria's Anem to modernize labor market intermediation

Algerian Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Mohamed Hattab, met with officials from the National Employment Agency (Anem) to discuss modernizing the agency's role in the evolving labor market. The meeting focused on improving intermediation services, better utilizing data and digital tools, and aligning vocational training with market demands.

Hattab issued directives to refine the matching process between job offers and applicants to increase efficiency. He emphasized the need for increased digitalization to anticipate market needs and called for greater transparency and equity in the processing of employment files.
