Algeria's Education Ministry releases results of 40,500 teacher recruitment exam

Algeria's Ministry of National Education announced on Thursday, 6 August, that the final results of the 2025 teacher recruitment competition are now available online from 11:30 a.m. Candidates can view their outcomes through the electronic portal https://concours.onec.dz.

The competition covers three teaching cycles – primary, middle and secondary – and aims to fill 40,500 positions (11,831 primary, 18,929 middle, 9,740 secondary). Over one million applicants (1,065,000) had registered for the exam. Results for the wilayas of Mascara, El Bayadh, Oran and Bouira will be posted later, pending completion of a preliminary review by the civil service.

The ministry also indicated that admission lists will be posted in all education directorates on the same day.
