Alghero and Teramo sign friendship pact honoring Ivan Graziani

The cities of Alghero and Teramo have signed a friendship pact to honor the memory and artistic legacy of the late Italian rock singer Ivan Graziani. The agreement, approved by the municipal councils of both cities, aims to transform the singer's personal connection to both locations into a permanent synergy between the two communities.

Graziani, born in Teramo to an Algherese mother, maintained a deep bond with Alghero, which served as a family refuge. The pact establishes cooperation across multiple sectors, including cultural and musical events, school projects to promote student exchanges, tourism, and territorial promotion.

Mayors Raimondo Cacciotto of Alghero and Gianguido D’Alberto of Teramo formalized the commitment to perpetuate Graziani's human and artistic values. The initiative was supported by Anna Bischi, the singer's wife and promoter of events such as the ‘Pigro’ Festival.
