Reggio Calabria approves permanent contracts for eight local police officers

The Reggio Calabria municipal government has approved a modification to the Integrated Activity and Organization Plan (PIAO), enabling the stabilization of eight local police officers. These employees, currently serving under training and work contracts, will transition to permanent part-time positions of 18 hours per week.

The measure, supported by Mayor Francesco Cannizzaro, aims to ensure occupational continuity and strengthen the local police force. Additionally, the plan includes provisions for 2026 to hire three more permanent staff members through voluntary mobility, including an IT expert and two administrative instructors, to improve municipal efficiency.
