Alghero Barracelli Company adds 12 new agents

The Alghero Barracelli and Civil Protection Commission has officially introduced 12 new agents to the Alghero Barracelli Company. Of the new recruits, seven are women. This expansion brings the total number of operational units in the company to 28.

During a meeting at Villa Maria Pia, Commander Riccardo Paddeu presented a detailed report on the company’s activities, including control services and prevention efforts conducted throughout the year, with a specific focus on the summer period. The company serves as a rural and local police force responsible for environmental protection, fire prevention, and the safeguarding of forest and agro-pastoral heritage.

Commission President Christian Mulas noted that the reinforcement of the company is a significant signal of growth and attention toward the territory. The session also allowed commissioners to review the interventions and community services provided by the agents.
