Alghero Bee Garden receives national television coverage

The Bee Garden project in Alghero, dedicated to the protection of bees, pollinators, and Mediterranean biodiversity, gained national visibility during a broadcast of the Rai 3 program ‘Splendida Cornice’.

Located in the Guardia Grande district near the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park, the initiative was highlighted when Bee Garden coordinator Davide Maffei addressed scientist Amalia Ercoli-Finzi during the program. The project involved the recovery of an agricultural area, which has been transformed into an environmental education space featuring over 5,000 Mediterranean melliferous plants. The garden serves schools, families, and visitors to promote awareness of the vital role pollinators play in natural ecosystems.
