Alghero completes redevelopment of Pino Cuccureddu sports facility

The Alghero administration has completed redevelopment works at the Pino Cuccureddu sports facility, managed by ASD Alghero Calcio. Francesco Marinaro, the Councilor for Public Works, stated that the project is part of a broader commitment to improve local sports infrastructure using both regional and municipal budget resources.

The upgrades include a new lighting system for the 11-a-side football pitch, featuring four floodlight towers ranging from 16 to 18 meters in height. This system is designed for training sessions and is prepared for future expansions to support night matches. Additionally, the project involved constructing a new grandstand on the Viale Burruni side and repairing sections of the pitch fencing.
