Alghero Family Festival announces program for seventh edition

The seventh edition of the Alghero Family Festival has been announced, featuring a month of events running through the end of October in Alghero, Italy. Organized by the municipal Family Policy Office, the festival involves over thirty collaborating associations.

Beyond celebrations, the initiative serves as a laboratory for studying changing family dynamics to help shape local social policies and services. The program emphasizes listening, research, and community participation to address the evolving needs of residents. Specific focus will be placed on youth and adolescents through street education projects designed to engage young people outside of traditional structured environments.

Alghero, which holds the certification of ‘Comune Amico della Famiglia’ (Family Friendly Municipality), acts as a leader for the network of Family Municipalities in Italy and Europe. The festival is part of a broader municipal plan to strengthen the social environment and improve civic life.
