Alghero Local Police enter state of agitation over work schedules

The Local Police Command in Alghero is facing a state of agitation following a dispute over new work schedule regulations. The CISL FP union has reported a critical organizational and human situation, citing staff shortages and a breakdown in professional relations with the Commander.

Union representatives claim the administration unilaterally imposed a new disciplinary schedule that ignores operational needs and work-life balance. Specifically, the union noted that summer shifts were extended until 05:50, changing the work structure from six to seven days a week. They also criticized the practice of communicating shifts via chat messages with very little notice.

In response to the tension, the union has announced it will send a formal note to the Prefecture of Sassari to initiate cooling-off and conciliation procedures to resolve the conflict.
