Alghero-Milan flight bookings suspended after October 24
Flight bookings for the territorial continuity service between Alghero and Milan Linate are currently unavailable for travel dates following October 24. This suspension has caused significant uncertainty for residents in the Sassari province who rely on these connections for work and essential medical appointments.
Michele Pais, a local councilor for the Lega and former President of the Regional Council of Sardinia, has criticized the regional government for its silence on the matter. He has called upon Regional President Alessandra Todde and Transport Councilor Barbara Manca to provide immediate clarity.
Reports suggest that ITA Airways may have accepted a service extension permitted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which could have avoided the need for a new negotiated procedure. However, despite these indications, passengers remain unable to book flights through the end of October.
