Alghero political group urges Sassari Metropolitan City to address infrastructure

The political group Noi Riformiamo Alghero is calling on the Metropolitan City of Sassari to prioritize infrastructure and road maintenance in the Alghero area. Councilman Emiliano Piras highlighted several unfinished projects and urgent needs regarding local viability.

Key demands include the immediate restoration of lighting on Provincial Road 44, which has been dark following cable theft, and the maintenance of the 'strada dei due mari' roundabout, described as a vital entrance for travelers arriving by sea or air. Additionally, the group is urging the completion of the Santa Maria La Palma roundabout, a strategic project that has reportedly faced delays despite previous funding and urban planning approvals. The group stated that the metropolitan administration must now move into the operational phase to provide necessary responses to the North-West Sardinia region.
