Alghero students explore local transport infrastructure

Students from the Roth Institute of Piazza Sulis are participating in a transport laboratory program in Alghero to study the region's infrastructure and professional opportunities. Promoted by the Maestrale association with support from the Fondazione di Sardegna, the initiative includes site visits to key transport hubs.

Following a visit to the Alghero airport facilitated by Sogeaal, students met with the Port Consortium. Led by President Giancarlo Piras, the group explored services at the Dogana and Sanità docks, including vessel assistance, mooring support, and services for recreational boaters. Discussions covered the coordination between regional, maritime, and municipal authorities, cruise ship systems, disability services, and potential plans to expand the port into a dedicated tourist hub.
