Alghero's Nobento plant faces crisis, Forza Italia urges regional aid

Regional councillors from Forza Italia – Marco Tedde, Antonello Peru, Lina Bardino and Nina Ansini – called on the Sardinian region and the municipality of Alghero to launch an immediate intervention to safeguard the Nobento manufacturing company and its workforce. They warned that the firm’s financial strain, production continuity problems and liquidity shortfalls threaten the jobs of hundreds of workers who depend on the plant, which has long been a key industrial asset for the area.

The councillors emphasised that symbolic solidarity is insufficient; concrete governmental action and financial support are required to preserve both the enterprise and the employment it generates. They asked the mayor of Alghero to act promptly to prevent further deterioration of the company’s situation.
