Algiers International Film Festival opens call for 2026 submissions

The organizers of the Algiers International Film Festival (AIFF) have opened the call for entries for its 13th edition, scheduled for 27 November to 4 December 2026 in Algiers, Algeria. Submissions are free and must be uploaded via Filmfreeway by 1 September, with eligibility limited to fiction, documentary, animation or experimental works produced after 1 January 2025. Both short (≤40 minutes) and feature‑length films in Arabic, English or French are accepted, with mandatory subtitles for any other language. The selection committee, composed of cinema professionals, will review the dossiers and announce the final list by 10 October 2026.
