Žalgiris shows improved shooting in final control match against Sabah

Žalgiris concluded its final control matches at the Žalgiris Arena with a victory over Sabah. The team showcased improved long-range shooting, successfully making 19 three-pointers during the game, a significant increase compared to their previous control matches against Zelli and Juventus.

Head coach Tomas Masiulis noted the integration of players returning from national teams, including Ąžuolas Tubelis and Maodo Lo. Tubelis demonstrated strong performance, scoring 12 points in under 12 minutes of play. Marekas Blaževičius stood out statistically, recording 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 24 efficiency points. While the team's perimeter shooting improved, players such as Jonas Valančiūnas, Tubelis, and Blaževičius did not attempt any three-pointers during the match.
