Algomatic Dynamics secures 5 billion yen for physical AI and robotics
Algomatic Dynamics, a startup specializing in robotics and physical AI, has secured 5 billion yen in funding led by DMM.com. The company was established following a transition from the DMM Group's Algomatic division to focus on the research and development of core technologies for social implementation.
The company aims to bridge the gap between digital AI and the physical world to address labor shortages in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, medical care, and food service. Key development goals include the release of an AI multi-finger hand platform by 2026, which will integrate hardware and software to handle diverse tasks and objects.
Algomatic Dynamics' technical roadmap includes motion data collection through video analysis, stable bipedal locomotion control, and the structuring of implicit human knowledge into digital data. The company intends to provide end-to-end services, from data collection and robot learning hardware to the sale and maintenance of AI-driven robotic components.
