Alhaurín de la Torre begins infrastructure improvements on Río Genil Street

The Alhaurín de la Torre City Council has launched infrastructure improvement works on Río Genil Street in the Los Manantiales urbanization. The project, ordered by Mayor Joaquín Villanova, aims to modernize access points to the municipality's urbanizations.

The works include the renovation of a 182-meter median, which will feature new shrubs and artificial grass to enhance the area's aesthetics. Additionally, the project involves installing new streetlights and improving pedestrian accessibility by lowering sidewalks to remove architectural barriers. This follows a similar recent intervention on Avenida del Manantial within the same area.
