Alhaurín de la Torre launches local commerce campaign

The Alhaurín de la Torre City Council has launched its annual ‘back to school’ campaign to encourage families to shop at local businesses. More than twenty establishments, including stationery stores, shoe stores, and clothing retailers, have joined the initiative.

To incentivize purchases, participating shops will distribute branded notebooks to customers. Local officials stated that the campaign aims to foster a circular economy, generate local wealth, and support small businesses against competition from large retailers and online platforms.
