Ali Amin Gandapur nominated as KP representative for negotiations
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parliamentary Party has decided to nominate former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to represent the province in the central negotiation process. This decision was reached through a majority vote during a party meeting.
The party also expressed serious concern regarding recent statements made by PTI Central Secretary General Salman Akram Raja on social media, demanding that he retract his comments and issue an apology. The parliamentary party has called upon party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan to take notice of the matter.
Additionally, the party condemned the imposition of emergency and Governor's rule in the province on October 11, labeling it unconstitutional, illegal, and an act of political revenge. Leaders expressed concern over the arrests and alleged abductions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, and other party workers. The party appealed to the international community and the courts to ensure the immediate release of detained individuals, including Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
