Turkey political leaders address economic and agricultural concerns

During his meetings with farmers in Ankara, Babacan highlighted the need for state support in agriculture and livestock, proposing a 'city farming' initiative to ensure no land remains unused.

In Kocaeli, Saadet Party's Burak Erol criticized the current economic situation, noting a significant budget deficit and questioning why citizens struggle despite high industrial production. He emphasized the importance of protecting labor rights while growing production.

In Rize, local challenges are being highlighted through individual struggles and community resistance. Zeynep Cengiz, a livestock producer, has been harvesting grass in urban green spaces to meet her animals' feed needs. Meanwhile, in Pazar, local fishermen and villagers are protesting a proposed cage fishing project by the Kuzuoğlu Group, citing concerns over the preservation of their livelihoods and the local environment.
