Ali Benjelloun elected president of Maghreb Association Sportive
Ali Benjelloun has been elected unanimously as the new president of the Maghreb Association Sportive (MAS) football club in Fes, Morocco. Benjelloun, who previously served as vice-president, succeeds Mohamed Bouzoubaa, who resigned in mid-September for personal reasons.
During the elective general assembly, the club reviewed its financial reports for the 2025-2026 season. The reports indicated a slight deficit, with expenditures totaling approximately 21.13 million dirhams against revenues of 21.08 million dirhams.
In his new role, Benjelloun expressed his commitment to continuing the development project initiated over the last two years. His agenda focuses on strengthening administrative and technical structures, fostering youth training, and enhancing economic partnerships within the region to diversify the club's financial resources. Former president Bouzoubaa will remain involved as a member of the board of sages and as a primary investor in the club's sports company.
