Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor pledge to refurbish 20 Mumbai schools

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, along with Neetu Kapoor and daughter Raha, celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi visarjan ceremony at their Mumbai residence. The family participated in traditional rituals, including the Ganpati aarti and the immersion procession, while sharing glimpses of the festivities on social media.

In conjunction with the festival, the couple announced a social initiative called ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday. Bhatt and Kapoor have pledged to refurbish 20 schools in Mumbai based on recommendations from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to improve learning environments for children.

Other figures and entities have also joined the initiative. The producers of the upcoming film ‘RamBola’ have pledged to donate 100% of their personal earnings and savings from the project to seva projects. Additionally, actor Ranveer Singh expressed support for the campaign during his visit to Lalbaugcha Raja.
