Alianza Lima honors Señor de los Milagros at Las Nazarenas

Alianza Lima held its annual religious ceremony to honor the Señor de los Milagros at the Sanctuary of Las Nazarenas in central Lima. The event, which marks a long-standing tradition for the club, was attended by first-team players, coaching staff, directors, and representatives from various sports disciplines, including the women's team and youth categories. Notable attendees included striker Paolo Guerrero.

During the ceremony, club general manager Alfredo Arosemena announced that the Venerable Convent of Las Nazarenas Carmelitas Descalzas will be named an honorary member of Alianza Lima. The distinction was accepted by Mother Prioress Sor Rosa de Jesús. As part of the tribute, the club presented the convent with a commemorative medal and a jersey.

While most of the squad participated, players Renzo Garcés, Mateo Antoni, and Jairo Vélez were absent from the mass. Although the club has not provided an official reason for their absence, reports suggest the absence of Mateo Antoni may be due to injury concerns following a recent match.
