Alianza Lima prepares launch of commemorative purple jersey

Alianza Lima is preparing to launch its traditional ‘blanquimorada’ jersey, a special purple and white kit used every October to honor the Señor de los Milagros. According to reports from journalist Gerson Cuba, the club tentatively plans to release the new commemorative apparel around the middle of September.

This year’s design is expected to differ significantly from previous versions. While past iterations typically involved only a color change to the primary kit, the upcoming model is rumored to feature a completely distinct design. This tradition, which dates back to 1971, remains a highly anticipated event for the club’s supporters and is a staple of the Liga 1 Clausura tournament.
