Alianza Lima prioritizes tournament title over coach Pablo Guede's renewal

Alianza Lima is currently prioritizing its performance in the Torneo Clausura over contract negotiations for head coach Pablo Guede. Although Guede is under contract until December 2026, the club has not yet confirmed a renewal for 2027.

Sports manager Franco Navarro Mandayo stated that the institution intends to avoid distractions while the team competes for the title. Having already won the Apertura, Alianza Lima aims to win the Clausura to secure the national championship directly. The club management has previously dismissed rumors regarding Guede's potential resignation, and the current focus remains on finishing the season strongly.
