Alianza Lima prepares for Atlético Grau clash amid squad changes

Alianza Lima is preparing to face Atlético Grau for matchday 12 of the Torneo Clausura at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium. The squad list announced by coach Pablo Guede features the return of 19-year-old Piero Cari, who had not played for the first team since May, and the return of Alan Cantero and Esteban Pavez.

Ahead of the match, Alianza Lima leader Luis Advíncula expressed confidence in the squad, calling the club ‘the biggest in Peru’. Meanwhile, Atlético Grau defender Ignacio Tapia highlighted Eryc Castillo as a key player to watch due to his power.

Regarding future planning, Alianza Lima is reportedly exploring several signings for the 2027 season. Potential targets include Mauricio Arrasco, Matías Córdova, Piero Magallanes, and Emilio Saba. Arrasco, currently with FC Cajamarca, has not ruled out a return to the club where he was trained.
