Telde police arrest father and son for drug trafficking and money laundering

Spanish National Police have arrested a father and son in Telde, Gran Canaria, for alleged drug trafficking and money laundering. The arrests followed a months-long investigation triggered by neighborhood complaints regarding a suspected drug distribution point in the La Garita district.

During a judicial-authorized search of the residence on August 28, authorities seized a variety of narcotics with an estimated illicit market value exceeding 28,000 euros. The seized substances included MDMA, tusi, cocaine, ecstasy pills, hashish pollen, and marijuana. Additionally, police recovered 9,894 euros in cash, precision scales, and various packaging materials used for the distribution of drugs.
