Moros y Cristianos FMYCA Alicante Spanish festivities cultural heritage

The Federation of Moros y Cristianos of Alicante (FMYCA) held its traditional festive gatherings at the Alejandrina Candela Training Center gardens. The event brought together representatives from the Altozano, El Rebolledo, and Villafranqueza-El Palamó festivities to promote brotherhood and social cohesion.

Alicante Mayor Luis Barcala participated in a parade alongside FMYCA President José Pascual Saura and Abanderada Mayor Melissa Fernández. Barcala emphasized that the federation has earned a prominent place in the city's festive calendar through its celebrations and its research and dissemination of local history.

The morning included a parade featuring various festival captains and representatives, followed by the announcement of the results for an all i oli competition and a communal social gathering.
