Alicante coast draws Thursday twilight parties and pristine wild beach visitors

Every Thursday evening the seaside town of Xàbia on Spain’s Alicante coast hosts a popular “twilight party” that attracts hundreds of locals and tourists. The event features live DJs, cocktail bars and music sessions set against the sunset, offering a daytime nightlife alternative that emphasizes the sea breeze and the view of the Mediterranean.

Further along the same coastline, the Playa del Carabassí near Elche is highlighted for its wild dunes, clear waters and rich marine life. The beach provides basic amenities, a nudist zone and access via boardwalks that protect the fragile dune system, making it a favored spot for snorkeling and nature‑focused recreation.
