Alicante hosts 18th edition of ‘Botigues al Carrer’ to boost local trade
The city of Alicante held the 18th edition of ‘Botigues al Carrer’ in San Francisco Street to promote local commerce and proximity shopping. The event, organized by the City Council’s Department of Commerce and Consumption alongside the ‘Más Que Centro’ association, drew hundreds of participants.
More than 70 businesses participated by displaying products in the street. The event featured various activities, including children's workshops, two concerts, special offers, an artisan zone, hospitality tastings, and live performances. The initiative aims to function as an open-air shopping center, allowing residents and visitors to engage directly with local merchants.
