Alicante will host the inaugural ‘Alasbravas’ gastronomic festival at Plaza de Séneca from Friday, September 25, to Sunday, September 27. The event features ten local restaurants competing to offer the city’s best version of patatas bravas.
Participating establishments include Cheos, Torriko Anarky Kitchen, Mola Food Truck, Brasad’or, Cargo, Tapería La Boya, Masala Cantina, 4Blooms, Vino y Más, and Pantanet 8. The recipes range from traditional styles to innovative versions featuring oriental touches, different spice levels, and options with or without alioli. Each tapa is priced at four euros.
Attendees can vote for their favorite dish using tickets provided with each purchase. The winner will be announced on Sunday and will present their winning recipe at the Alicante Gastronomic Fair at IFA from October 2 to 5. The festival will also include music, workshops, and gluten-free options.
