Alicante retail sector sees fashion shifts and Sprinter expansion

The commercial landscape in Alicante is undergoing shifts in both the fashion and sporting goods sectors. In the city center, the fashion brand Maje has closed its store in Plaza de la Muntanyeta, leaving a vacancy at the corner of Calle Pintor Agrasot. Simultaneously, the Barcelona-based brand Lola Casademunt has opened its first standalone store in the province, taking over the location previously occupied by Liu Jo.

In the sporting goods sector, Sprinter has invested 1.5 million euros to expand its network. The company inaugurated a new 454-square-meter store in the Parque Comercial Vistahermosa in Alicante, marking its 17th location in the province. This expansion is part of a broader strategy that includes a new opening in Torrelodones and a full renovation of its Islazul location in Madrid, as the chain aims to reach 240 stores across Spain.
