Alice Lesmana qualifies for Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup grand final

Indonesian golfer Alice Lesmana has secured a spot in the grand final of the 11th Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, scheduled to take place in Antalya, Turkey, at the Gloria Golf Club in late December.

Lesmana earned her qualification by winning the Jakarta series held at the Damai Indah Golf, PIK Course, finishing with 39 points. In addition to her victory, she won the ‘nearest to the pin’ category for women. The tournament features a global circuit of 139 qualifying events across 80 countries, involving more than 10,000 amateur golfers.

Other notable performers in the Jakarta series included Imam Sanusi in second place and Tomoko Imada in third. Muhammad Luthfi Haiban received the ‘lowest gross’ award with a score of 78. Indonesia may have another representative following a scheduled qualifying tournament in Bali this September.
