Alice nella Città film festival announces new awards and program

The Alice nella Città film festival has announced its upcoming program and a new structured partnership with Premio Film Impresa and Unindustria. This collaboration aims to promote audiovisual culture and support young talent by bridging the gap between the film industry and the production world.

The partnership will establish two annual awards: the ‘Premio Film Impresa – Under 35’, which recognizes the best short film by a female director under 35, and the ‘Premio Alice nella Città – Premio Film Impresa’, which honors films that explore themes of cinema, business, work, and innovation in the Lazio region.

Scheduled to run from October 13 to 25 alongside the Rome Film Festival, Alice nella Città is moving its location from the Prati district to the Ludovisi district, utilizing venues such as Teatro Sistina and Cinema 4 Fontane. The festival program includes twelve international competition films and special events, such as a masterclass by Jeremy Renner and the presentation of the Womenlands Excellence Award 2026 to Susan Sarandon.
