Alice Piombino joins Fortuna Six on La Ruota della Fortuna

Alice Piombino has debuted as the new female vocalist for the musical group Fortuna Six on the Italian television program La Ruota della Fortuna. Host Gerry Scotti introduced the 31-year-old singer during the October 20 episode, following the departure of Nicla Ozenda.

Ozenda stepped down from the group to undergo surgery for a vocal cord cyst. Piombino, originally from Gerenzano in the province of Varese, is a professionally trained singer who graduated with honors from the M. A. S. academy in Milan. Her previous experience includes performing on international cruise ships for companies such as Royal Caribbean International, Costa Crociere, and Silversea, as well as various live performance credits.

Piombino joins existing band member Alex Mandelli, who previously joined the group after the departure of Marco Galeone.
