Alicia Brown sues Fulton County Sheriff over wrongful arrest

Alicia Brown, the estranged wife of radio personality Darian Morgan (known as Big Tigger), has filed a federal lawsuit against Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat. Brown alleges that a faulty warrant led to her wrongful arrest during a July 6 traffic stop in Hart County, Georgia.

The lawsuit claims the Fulton County warrant, which accused her of interfering with child custody, was invalid because a judge had granted her custody of her minor children less than two weeks prior to the arrest. While the warrant was later recalled and no charges were prosecuted, Brown seeks damages for emotional distress, reputational harm, and financial losses.

In her filing, Brown also named Morgan and is seeking access to phone records between him and Sheriff Labat to investigate potential preferential treatment. The arrest also involved an outstanding warrant from Baltimore County, Maryland, related to the 2019 disappearance of Brown’s daughter; however, authorities confirmed the missing child was not in the vehicle during the Georgia stop.
