Alicia Silverstone to reprise Cher Horowitz in Paramount+ Clueless sequel series

Paramount+ has green‑lit a sequel series to the 1995 cult teen comedy *Clueless*. Alicia Silverstone will return as the iconic Cher Horowitz and serve as an executive producer alongside the original film’s writer‑director Amy Heckerling and producer Robert Lawrence. The series, set 30 years after the original, follows a successful, business‑savvy Cher navigating motherhood until her teenage daughter’s high‑school years make her feel “clueless” again.

The show will be written and executive produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (known for *The O.C.* and *Gossip Girl*) with Jordan Weiss also attached. Filming is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles in 2027, bringing back original creative talent while adding new voices to the project.
