Alicia Vikander to present ‘The Echo Chamber’ at Venice Film Festival

Actress Alicia Vikander is set to present the film ‘The Echo Chamber’ at the Venice Film Festival. Directed by Andrea Pallaoro, the film features Vikander as a physiotherapist named Anne, navigating a complex relationship involving love and dependency alongside Italian actor Luca Marinelli. The project is notable for being the final screenplay written by the late cinema legend Bernardo Bertolucci.

Vikander expressed her desire to experience the film for the first time with a live audience on the Lido to fully embrace the Venice atmosphere. The film, which was shot in Rome but set in London, also stars Susan Sarandon. In recent comments regarding her personal life, Vikander noted her preference for a stable relationship without drama, contrasting her real-life marriage to Michael Fassbender with the tormented character she portrays in the film.
