Alien: Earth season 2 enters production in London

Production has officially commenced for the second season of Noah Hawley’s “Alien: Earth” at Pinewood Studios in London. While the first season was filmed in Thailand, the production has moved to the United Kingdom for this new installment.

FX has released behind-the-scenes footage providing a glimpse of returning characters, including Wendy (Sydney Chandler) and Hermit (Alex Lawther), as well as models of xenomorph creatures. The new season is expected to follow the aftermath of the first season’s finale, which saw hybrids take control of the Prodigy research center.

Showrunner Noah Hawley indicated that the upcoming episodes will explore the consequences of the hybrid coup and delve into the corporate politics of the Weyland-Yutani corporation. The cast has expanded to include Peter Dinklage, Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell, and Jerome Flynn.
